where is water tank bypass 2016 georgetown 369 XL
How do I get water to the water heater. I have a 2016 Georgetown 369XL. I cannot find the bypass valve to send water to heater. We filled tank from our residence, but there is no water in the heater. Please help, we are first time owners and are totally clueless. Thanks

Assuming your water heater/tank has a door on the outside of your rig, the inside part of the heater/ tank is where you'll find the bypass. Some are in the bath others are in the rear bedroom.

Look under the motor home below water heater. There should be an opening where you twist off the cover. Bypass valves are in that space.

Have you ever had hot water working in your rig?

yes, heater tank is outside panel below the bedroom. Do I look in cabinet areas in bed/bathrooms for valves or look for a hidden panel in those areas.

No
Look at underbelly of motorhome below water heater. That is where there is access to by pass valves.

Throw a tarp on the ground under the water heater.
Crawl under, looking up. You should see a plastic circular access door near the underside of the water heater.
If you can, look up inside. Do you see 3 taps on the water Lines?
If so, and the RV came to you still winterized, turn each tap 90 degrees from the position you find them in. Don't try to analyze it as a newbie, just turn each one 90 degrees from where you find them. Two taps should be the same direction each time.

Turn all three 90 degrees from the position when you found them.
Two of them should be in the same position no matter time of the year.

you'll have to use the electric pump.
and that will involve another valve or two
If you have an owners manual, I'm pretty sure that will help you.
Especially if it's still winterized.

You might be better off using city water initially -- no pump involved.
If you do, open faucets to see if there's any pink liquid. If there is, open all the faucets until the water is clear.
