Where to buy 6 volt deep cycle house batteries...

Any suggestions for price and value...what age do you typically replace the house batteries? Mine are showing age I think...not holding shore power charging or when the engine is charging....just bought this 2014 377XL less than 3 months ago with less than 12K miles.

Over the years, I have always bought my Trojans at the local golf cart company, where they inevitably have pallets of fresh ones to pick from.

Many others report good results with Sam's or Costco products.


IIRC, I paid about $125 each the last time.

Check your local phone book for golf cart shops. They had far better prices than anywhere else I checked, and all their batteries are fresh due to the high turnover rate.

I had used 6V golf cart batteries on my home solar setup for many years. They tend to last 4-5 years in HOT FL. They last a little longer in cooler climates.
