Where to order OEM parts?

We have a 2006 Georgetown 340. The front grill that swings open to check fluids, etc. will not stay up. The supporting frame is weak. When I called FR they told me they do not have parts for 2006 models. I would think that this same frame would be used in other years? Is there another source for OEM or replacement parts?

Thank you in advance,

Are you talking about hinges?
If you took a picture of what you need would be helpful.
This way we can get a better idea and find a replacement for you.

You can also contact this person at Forest River.
She helped me with a replacement step bezel that broke on mine.
Very nice lady.

Sorry no email address.

Thanks.... Yes, the hinges. The coach is at the dealer now but I will take a pic on Monday. I would imagine these hinges are the same for multiple years?

Thanks in advance.

My hood did not stay up also. I noticed it was not the hinges but the springs that were light duty and really weak. I found tighter springs at the local hardware store, not the perfect size but I made them work. Now the hood stay up.
Just saying

My hinges on the 2004 Georgetown rusted and the hood just dropped off one day when I attempted to lift it. I went to the local marine supply store and purchase two stainless steel hinges that even had the same hole locations. Marine supply stores such as West Marine in Merritt Island, Florida will ship too. They also had the original chrome plated hinges, too, if you prefer to use them again.

Thank you!!

I wonder if the 2006 is similar to the 2004 Georgetown. Mine has an arm that extends out on each side that holds up the grille. They are weak and it falls down. When you say you have hinges, are you referring to the arm that extends out?

Thank you!

I have a 2013 351 -- It actually has a little metal piece that is used to hold up the "hood". It is on the drivers side.

I bet you have the same thing. Look for a piece of metal that looks like it is part of the scissors. On the inside of one of the joints you will see a piece that has a round notch. Slide it down (or up, i forget), then push it towards the centerline of the RV and put the notch on the round crossbar. That will hold the hood up.

Sorry, but I don't have any pictures.

Sorry... just saw yours is a 2006, so might be completely different.

Like Iggy suggested, a picture would be of more help to everyone.
