In my Georgetown 31L5, x2 for dolfan1981, except I use a rectangular trash can. Both work. Just like dolfan1981 I stow it in the bin next to the water/waste-drain. In the same bin in I stow my inside and outside cleaning supplies, maintenance supplies, and tank treatment supplies.

My sewer hose has caps for both ends. I just fold it in half and stuff it in the compartment where the valves are located in my 2011 Georgetown. The spare hose, the spout that gets inserted into the sewer pipe and my rubber donut are stored in a heavy duty garbage bag in the same compartment.

Additional items stored there include the toilet wand, expanding snake stand for the sewer hose, mini sandbags to hold the spout in the sewer pipe, and a box of gloves to wear when dumping. The only non sewer related item in the compartment is my collapsible windshield squeegee. The squeegee gets stored there because it's right next to the gas filler pipe.

Sewer hose storage

I keep my sewer hose in a vinyl fence post that is large enough to accommodate the fittings on the end of the sewer hose.

It is hung above the propane tank and terminates in the compartment that houses the coach batteries and levelers.

Be certain that the post slopes away from the batteries so that water does not drip on them when storing a wet sewer hose.

Same one I use, see post#12. Works great!

So, I'm curious to learn/see what us Class A Georgetown motorhome owners have done for storing the sewer hose. Rather than coiled up in a bin, I'm looking for ideas for possibly stashing it under the rig - able to be easily accessed but not easily seen/noticed.

Thanks in advance!

I had a 36' 5th wheels that had two 5" plastic pipes mounted in front of the axles that held mine.
I now have a 36' Lexington and I bought a 6" X 5' piece of galvanized stove pipe with end caps and it slides in my rear storage area

What do you use when one end of the sewer hose had a 90 degree plastic elbow fitting attached. Seems none of the "fence post" or similar devices would allow for that 90 degree elbow.

Read post #24. That should work perfectly!!!
Also, you might consider stuffing the hose in a plastic lined compartment after you thoroughly rinse out the hose. Should save a wallet full of cash- hours of unnecessary installation of any/all those different types of hose keepers etc etc etc.

I don't use a 90 on the end of mine but if I did, I would have purchased a 6" piece of galvanized stove pipe.
( after snapping the metal together to form the pipe I used metal foil tape on the seam. Then I screwed and taped one cap for the bottom and put a handle on the cap for easy access for the top. It a very inexpensive way to store your hose.)

You can cut a U shape out on the side facing down.

You may have done that to your rig, but that's a picture of my modification in my motorhome......

I am flattered however.

A smart rv'r. When I had a TT, I stuffed the hose in the rear bumper. Don't have that in my MH so the plastic lined compartment is perfect.

Isn't this a Georgetown motorhome thread?
We don't have rear bumper storage.
