I thought so also but yesterday two people said it was Allison.
So I decided to ask here and we are assured to find the truth.

After thinking about your post I realized you were not or probably not talking about a ford pickup "less than f-350" but yet talking about a coach. and that would be different . BUT there is an exception because medium duty and heavy duties use allison . SO WITH that being said it is possible for a ford to have an allison .
We had a 93 ford f-600 with an allison . so anythings possible .

Theres a good chance its an allison then !
only way to tell is to slide on under and look .
I believe on the right rear of the trans there should be a tag .

I just went out and under to see and it has Ford written all over it.
So I guess it is still a FORD Tranny

Im not sure there has ever been a ford with an Allison tranny from the factory. Allison had deep GM roots
