Winegard traveler

Hey question and hope someone can help. I have. 2015 Georgetown 351 with a winegaurd traveler for direct tv. When I power on the traveler box it goes through the steps to start searching and then searches, but that's as far as it goes. It keeps spinning Around and Around and won't find signal. Now I know this has nothing to do with direct tv it's the winegaurd dish or box as my buddy is right next to me same setup and it signal great. I have done the obvious pull power to it resets itself, and check all the connections. Anyone have had this problem or any ideas ? The unit worked last trip which was about a month ago and the unit is only 3 months old.

That's what mine does when there are trees in the way. If that is it try to move ur coach 5 ' either way.

I have moved mine as little as a foot before and picked up a signal. Just has to see a hole thru whatever is there.

My thoughts are the same...power down, move the coach, turn the receiver on for a few seconds and then the dish if they are powered separately.

I am in the infield in charlotte so no obstructions. And I have powered it down over night and re-attempted in the morning. I did locate the problem. connection c on the dish went bad. I moved all the connections to a and it worked just fine. So one of my connections went bad.

may I add a question

I have a 2015 Georgetown 378 and cannot locate the satellite connection on the outside of the rig. I know the box inside is above the passenger seat. I have a winegard carryout g2 for direct tv, If someone can help me with the outside issue. Stopped at a dealership - no one knew. Have call in to FR, but 5 days and no response.
Thanks for any assistance,
EChambers

Look for a coax connection in the driver side exterior compartment containing your fresh water and sewer connections.

On my 2011 378 it is located under the coach near the front right. I didn't see it but just had my coax replaced and the tech told me where it was located.

Good luck and Happy Trails, Forrest
