Winterizing??

Unfortunately i am forced to return north for home. We will be coming into some weather in route that will be below freezing. When I get to where I’m going I can get it inside and winterize it. It will take 2-3 days with stops. We will be in it with heater on when stopped. Do I need to worry about anything freezing up during the trip?

I know you’re looking for a guarantee here, but no one can really do that for you. The temperatures between where you are and home.....anyone’s guess. On top of that, are there campground locations enroute? What temps will you see along the way? Keeping heaters on may not protect the small pipes your rig has. Tanks are only part of the equation, even though you may have heat pads, they don’t protect your pipes.

Not winterizing before you get it back inside is a risk I’d rather not chance.
Your call.

For the sake of saving a few $ and about 1/2 hour's time I wouldn't take any chances either

If you are returning shortly, you will be heading into a snow storm. Travel will be slow and you may be stuck an extra night or two. You don't want to realize you should have winterized when you are somewhere you can not winterize.

As long as you are 100% sure you will be in it all the time, running the heater and the tank heaters and nothing goes wrong with any of the systems, you don't get stuck somewhere and run out of LP gas, slide off the road, etc., etc.

Too many "ifs" to not winterize when you get to cold weather.
