Did you close the water heater bypass valve?

If not then you are filling the water heater with pinkie (about 6 gallons), this is not good.

Yes, should I get pink out of the hot side in sinks and shower?

Yes you should.
Does it sound like you may have air in the lines?

Yes you should. But if the bypass valves (yes valves, three in many units) arn't in the right position, the antifreeze will go into the HW tank.

I would suggest opening the HW tank drain to see if red comes out.

Otherwise, you may have shut of all the bypass valves, which would close off the HW lines altogether.

You are correct sir. The one in the middle is the WH bypass.

I don't know if it is possible but perhaps the knob on the bypass valve is positioned 90 deg out. Turn it and see if you get hot water side flow.

I did get some in the hot water tank, will that hurt anything? Got pink to come out every where but I'm not sure about the ice maker!

The pink stuff will hurt the tank if you leave it in there. Just flush a bit of water into the tank (squirt water in the drain opening) and that will be okay.

Not sure about the ice cube thing, I don't have one of those.
