Winterizing
I am preparing for my first winter with my motorhome, and probably will be parking it at my home in Massachusetts for the winter. We plan on at least 2 trips this winter, so I want to have it winterized, but easy to get ready for travel as well.
I bought an air compressor and plan on blowing out the pipes to clear the water. Then I was going to drain the hot water tank and leave the plug out. In addition, I was going to add anti-freeze to the sink traps, the shower drain, and the fresh water, grey water and black water tanks. Is there anything else I should do?
What do people do with the batteries? Take them inside, leave them in the motorhome?
I have the Arctic Pac, if I leave the motorhome plugged in can I forgoe any of the above winterizing steps?
Anything else I don't know about?
Thanks in advance for your help.
