Wiper Blades

OK...got to change the windshield wiper blades, finally. The wipers are Tru-Vision so I assume the blades are also. RV dealerships want $41.00 or so for EACH blade. Has anybody found a substitute blade from a regular auto parts store? I've looked but with no luck. I really hate to spend $85 bucks on wiper blades!

Thanks
Chuck

You can find 28" blades cheaper than that. They don't have to be "RV" blades, any 28" blade will work.

I got two heavy duty 28 inch rainX blades at Sam's Club for $15. Been on the coach for a year and work great. My coach takes 32 inch blades for $50 each and I to thought that was a bit high.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm going to try other places to see if they can be found. Still don't want to pay $80 plus for wipers!

Lostdog, a good coat of RainX will help with blades also. You will use them less which equals longer time before having to change them.

Well...I found out that our rig requires a TRU VISION blade assembly because of the size of the wiper arm J hook! Forest River Georgetowns from 09 thru 11 used these special...for some reason. I tried every auto parts place within 15 miles of where we are, truck dealerships and RV shops. Nobody had the right blades, they all said they did but when I would take my old blade to the store they would conclude that the J hook would not work. Crap! Went to the dealership where we bought our rig, carried the blade in and said "I bought this here...now match it!" The parts department finally found them on line and ordered a pair for me. $34 a pop...but I finally found them. These new ones will never see the light of day unless we are rolling down the road.

FYI
I think these blades are for Georgetowns 2007, 2008 and 2009 only

2010 to 2015 I believe use the expensive J- Hook models
