We have been driving the 335 since June and have no complaints except the wife says making the bed is a little complicated. I tow a full dressed harley and a KIA Soul behind mine. We are loving it.
There were a few minor fixes I did myself but nothing major.

slide out hydraulic problem

I live in Russell ON,
bought a 2013 XL 378 in july 2012 from RV Canada in Ottawa ON,
first year didn't travel much Health problem, in mid june 2013 I found one of the hydraulic slide out was sliding out about 4 inches park or drive that didn't
make any difference, went to see the dealer and left the motor home 2 days at the shop service man said leak on cylinder got to order one, so I waited all summer check with the service every month yes it's coming last time I check I was told it's not the cylinder waited all summer I was not to happy,

so we went to TX on my way back home in april 2014 I stop at Forest river in
Elk Hart IN and I was told go back to your Dealer and they will fix'it they never did they told me you have a limited warranty so am still stuck with it,

This is worse experience I had with a bad Dealer they really screw me up so now I don't trust any dealers or even Forest river they don't stand behind their products

I have a 378xl model that I purchased in the beginning of 2014.
Minor fixes and repairs during our first year. Dealer has been great with performing this warranty work in a timely fashion.
I would recommend this model; we love the floor plan.

We also could not get our dealer to look after a number of things for us. I called Forest River from TX and made an appointment with service in Elkhart on our way home to ON. They looked after us very well even fixed some things that were not on our list.

We purchased this MH because with the slides open it gives us the room we want since you spend most of the time in the living room. Some people like the bath and a 1/2 but you lose the LR space, It has all of the options we wanted and I added the in motion King Dome sat system and if you have kids/grandkids that go with you it is nice for them to watch tv while moving. The V10 has the power to tow our 2012 Chevy Cruze and I keep her running about 65mph. We have had a few minor issues but our dealer and FR took good care of everything. A great dealer is key to the MH experience so find a good dealer to purchase your unit from.

We came from a 09 fiver and a 09 Chevy 3500 dually and I admit the driving was something you have to get use to because you feel the wind more in the MH than any other combination.

I have done the CHF (cheap handling fix)to the rear and it improved the sway greatly. I have not done the front as of yet and I may not because I can drive one handed even with the big trucks passing. We thought about a DP but the expensive of one and maintenance costs a lot more, and we won't be driving 100,000 miles a year with it. I believe the V10 will handle everything we want to do!

Now if I hit the lotto Yes I will be purchasing a Prevost 45' fully loaded and not look back.

If you have any questions please let me know. Hope this helps.

We tow a 2014 Equinox with our 2014 GT 378. This is our second Rv from forest river. Be persistent with warranty work repairs wherever your travels take you. Get names and numbers and call FR with issues or service repairs . The new rigs have many upgrades and seem to be competing nose to nose with other quality manufactures. Happy travels...

HI Snoring Dog, am glad you got a good dealer,

I got the worse dealer he lie to me all the way,

on top that Forest River didn't stand behind their product when I was at their shop they told me go back to the dealer and they will fix it the dealer never did, all he said now you have a limited Warranty it's up to you to fix it,

I live in Canada and it's 850 milles from ElkHart so I don't go their every day,

so thats wye I will never bye a forest river product and I will make sure all my friends knows about it.

at the same time I like to thanks all the members with their good advice.

Georgetown 335DS Owner

We bought new 2013 GT 335DS last winter. Previously owned 29 ft Winni class C with 2 slides. Really liked Wiini but just felt we needed more room. Camped about 45 nights and 2000 mi. since got GT.

First off, class A GT is night and day difference. I think GT handles better on road. leveling jacks, power awning, etc. make setting up a breeze. Love fireplace, large screen TV, power front shades. One thing on "wish list" is a larger gray water holding tank. After 3 days it becomes an issue if with out sewer hookup. Plenty of power down highway. Lots of inside storage.

As for problems and service. Hydraulic lines for jacks had bulges when we got MH and maybe some very minor issues which I took care of, no problem. Dealer took care of hydraulic lines immediately. Hope our good luck continues after warranty runs out!!

We are very happy with unit. Love floor plan. We know there are bigger and fancier units, but we are more than happy with what we have. Would defintely buy another. Can't wait for summer

Bought a new coach 5 weeks ago from Motorhone Specialists in Alvarado, Texas. Haven't had much time in the coach (spent most of the time since purchase in China), but will start putting on the miles here shortly. The buying experience and the price were excellent! Did have one warranty issue which was scheduled and repaired within 3 days. You can even stay in the unit under a cover with full hookups while the repairs are underway. We really like the unit so far. Hopefully the love continues!!

Need to understand that many DP hitches are rated at 5000lbs, same as our GT's. It's not necessarily about power.
