Yet Another Tip - Water Heater

When I dropped off the coach to have the awning repaired the lady that helped me get checked in asked if I wanted them to install screens on the water heater exhaust ports. I said no because it's a no brainer DIY and I'm sure they would have charged me a pretty penny to do so.

Once I get the coach back I'm going to add them myself and will post. We do have problems with mud daubers in our area and couldn't imagine what they could do if they decided to get in there.

While you're screening, might do the furnace, fridge, AC covers, and gray / black tank vents as well. I never thought it could happen, but I had the dobbers trying to build in one of my vent pipes last year. Talk about aggravating hearing that buzzing inside a wall. I removed the little caps, hot glued a piece of aluminum screen to the top of the pipe (cut the same size as the pipe OD), then reinstalled the cap. Those suckers will build anywhere.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

Just keep a very close eye on those screens that they dont get plugged up with dust and airborne "stuff"...so that everything can exhaust as it should...there is a potential to start a fire if neglected.
