Yet Another Tire Pressure Thread but I Need You Guys/Gals' Advice
I have a 2014 GT 351DS (brand new to RVing); and yes I've searched tons of threads on here.
The label by the driver seat says to have 92lbs / cold in the front and back.
When I took delivery they were at 85. Many threads recommend 82. We took a 400 mile trip when I took delivery and the handling was great so no complaints there.
With safety at the top of my mind, should I go with the 92 or would a few less pounds be recommended based on your experience. 92 just seems like a lot.

When I got our coach (328 TS with 19.5" wheels) all tires were set at 82 psi. Before our second trip (first was a shakedown trip two miles from the dealer) I set them at 92 psi per the sticker. I think the coach handled slightly better at 92 psi, but it's hard to tell. It did ride a little rougher, of course. I need to get our coach down to some scales to weigh it, and then use the Goodyear numbers to match weight to psi, but so far, so good. I've seen many threads now saying that the dealerships set the psi down in the low 80s range...is it just a "ride" thing and is it safe? I don't know. Some people say that you aren't safe until you weigh and adjust, but I think that is probably an exaggeration.

Ours were at 85 at first, we took them up to 92 and the ride has been MUCH better. 2015 351ds

Thank you all. You've confirmed for me that 92 is not too high and I'm going to adjust them up. Appreciate the feedback as always and I'll try not to add any new (repeat) threads in the future.

First off I applaud you for checking your tire pressures! When we picked up our coach from the dealer after we purchased it the right front tire was at 110PSI and the left front was at 72PSI! So much for Quality Assurance! I now run all six tires at 92PSI.

Please ask ANY question!
There are a lot of forum members (new and old) that don't know about the search feature.
This forum has a very usable search, sometimes a little too good (CHF) .
I'm a member of a form that wont let you search for anything less than a 4 letter word, LED, HID nope can't search for those it's a car forum.
Looking forward reading the answers to your next question... .

92 PSI - Strongly recommend.
I am fairly new to Class A RVing myself and I gotta tell you - experience is way better than any other source of info. From experience I can now tell you my 351DS is way better handling with Cheap Handling Fix (CHF) and 92 PSI then without the CHF and 82 PSI. If you think that 92 is over inflation, go and read the sidewall on your tires. I'll bet they are in the 110 PSI zone.
So make the CHF and inflate the tires.
PS: I am so concerned about tires I also took the experiential advise of adding a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Cost me $264 for a TST 507 unit with flow thru inflation but I will rest better knowing that one of the most important system in my $100K+ investment is being tracked just like my engine temp and oil!!

I have the 351DS with the smaller tires. The decal by the drivers seat also recommends 92 PSI on all tires.

And I bet you're still well within the psi rating on the side walls.
