-8 Celsius

So I’m looking out the window at the foot of snow that fell in the last twenty four hours and every time I go out to shovel snow, fill the bird feeders or feed the animals I have to walk by the AFrame stored in the carport. I keep daydreaming about the first camping trip of the season hard to think of it as just around the corner when its -8 Celsius outside. So lets here it I know you Canadians already have a plan for the first camping trip of the season. Where have you booked your site and why? We’ll be at Wheatley Provincial Park to see the birds migrating across the Great Lakes.
Hey, you don’t have to be Canadian anybody that’s snowbound jump in let’s here it where is your first trip this season and why there?

Just pulled the pin on a new TT (Grey Wolf 28BH) - pick it up mid-April... Just joined the forums, too (this is actually my first post here)

We're already booked out for May 1st (Toronto North KOA in Cookstown - it's about 15 minutes from home, and our "trial run" with the new trailer) then May 15th for the long weekend at Niagara Falls...

It's going to be a long 3 months waiting for camping season to get here!

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get my Snow Blower out, and do the driveway again...

-14 C here...another Nor'easter raging outside...all we can do is sit and look at the Sabre and wait for spring. Our first trip out will be the long weekend in May to Graves Island Provincial Park....here in N.S you can't make reservations at Prov. Parks until April 02..We like to go someplace close by (1hr) first time out...Graves is beautiful too

-10 here in Nova Scotia as a blizzard rages.

If all goes according to plan, we are going to escape to Florida for a week at Spring Break. I'm just hoping we aren't too snowed in to get the trailer out.

At Long Sault Parkway Seaway Park.
Been opening the season there for the past 5 years with a few friends.

-18 deg cel. with wind chill -28 heading to warmer weather soon kind of tired of the winter already, and we probably still have another 2-3 months here, good old Sask. Must be getting old used to like winter.

We sat down and booked the Rally at Ferris PP In June. We have another 6 weekends, many 4 day ones. This helps us get through winter. We have spent 70 nights at Ontario Provincial Parks in the last 2 years and 2 Nights at a KOA. With the dollar where it is staying home is a good option except for Goshen which is a lot of fun.

Right now -23 C or -1 F with windchill and 30 cm of snow.

First offical trip will be the May long weekend in Cape Breton. We are talking of hooking on in April and going down to South Carolina until the long weekend in May. It will depend on the weather here.

Rondeau is great for bird watching stop by Wheatley Provincial Park about 45 minutes west much smaller than Rondeau but some beautiful sites right on the marsh some with hydro others without. Quiet little park but also is a good spot for spring migration and it’s not far from Point Pelee which come May is one of the hot spots for birders. You must be a diehard if you’re going in April.
I’ve heard good things about Ferris small but peaceful and clean.

-25 here in Chalk River(Ottawa Valley). Our first trip is in May to Bonnnesure PP. Great park, very nice beach with a huge playground for the kids. It's closer to us as this will be our shake out trip for our new TT. We ordered a Rockwood 2905ss in Oct. It got here near the end of Nov and has sat in the dealer lot covered in snow since then. I have to drive past it every day going to work😥. Counting the days!
