We're planning a summer trip to Toronto and Niagra Falls and wondering if anyone has recommendations for campgrounds near either, that have some fun stuff for kids?
In 2002 we stayed at the KOA on the Canadian side.
They had excellent facilities with a great playground for the kids and an indoor pool. The bus stopped right in front of the campground on the route to take people right down to the tourist area and the Falls. When we rode past the "attractions" like "Ripley's Believe it or Not" I jokingly grabbed my wallet and told the kids that I could feel them trying to suck the money right out of it... Great time and a beautiful view of the Falls from the Canadian side. There is the Welland Canal and the St Catharine's locks and museum nearby to see. Pretty impressive to see ships raised and lowered in the locks (I'm retired US Navy and like nautical stuff).
Here is a link to the museum - St. Catharines Museum - St. Catharines
In Niagara Falls , KOA is nice, also check out Campark Resort Campark Resorts Niagara Falls Camping
it's nice as well. Never been to either one since we live in Niagara but we drive past them at least once a week, if I was from out of town I would pick either one.
In Toronto you could stay at Glen Rouge Campground. It is located at the east end of Toronto beside Highway 401. It is vary close to the Toronto Zoo. There is also the KOA Toronto north that is near Canada's Wonderland.

What type of info do you need? Are you looking for thing for children or adult entertainment. Do you want to be close to Toronto or the Falls. A campground that is not too far from the falls is Sherkston Shores camping resort. It is located on Lake Erie. The CG has a waterpark on site. The have several restaurants in the resort. The youth also have a skateboard area. It is not a long drive to the falls.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Requirements are some things at the campground for the kids, yet reasonably close to downtown Toronto, as wella as the Falls. Currently for Toronto I'm considering Leisure Time and for Niagara Campark is at the top of the list.
We stayed at Fifty Point Campground last Thanksgiving (Cdn). It is a nice campground in a large park. It is also about midway between Hogtown and Niagara.
