Thumbs up Arrowhead PP - Ontario

We were @ Arrowhead last week. We had the thunderstorms & a 9 hour power outage, but no damage like up @ Emsdale. Weather was nice during the days & saw a couple of bears in our site & some deer elsewhere.

The Roe CG is closed now. Not sure about Lumby.

very nice. I can hardly wait til next spring, we will be so busy as there are so many nice parks to camp at.
Do they rent canoes at Arrowhead?

Yes they do rent canoes (w/ paddles & lifejackets) & bikes there. The rental shop is just to the right of where the canoes are in the pic.

It's off season. It's a lot busier during the summer. Not that I would let that stop a person from camping there.

A bit of highway noise & you can hear the occasional train whistle. I didn't notice this when I was there in the past. Mind you the added campers in the summer may have masked these sounds.
