Christina Lake B.C. advice

We are planning a summer holiday to Christina Lake, not sure of the exact date but want to get something pegged down and reserved.

We would like there to be showers in the campground as the trailer only has very small tanks (thats another story).

We have a 10yr old and a 7yr old so something near the water would be nice.

Can you do fishing from the shore at this lake?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Kevin

Have you stayed at any of them? Any positive things or negative?

Thanks for the link.

We've stayed at Texas Creek. It's the only one on the lake that is a provincial park (not private.) We prefer the provincial parks over the private for the larger and better treed sites. As I recall, it's a short walk to the quite warm water of the lake. You can fish from shore if you walk down to the water and head north to the very end of the day use areas right in front of the rock bluffs. Lots of smallies in that area. Texas rig an artificial earthworm and you're in business.
