Think about that.

The airlines knew something was up on the 10th. Many new precautions. Much nervousness.

I've not been back since. I'd love to go, but won't...........
Sadly many knew it was coming.

Odd someone just came to me with that concern. I researched it and all i found was that IF YOU HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD, YOU may not get an entrance VISA or a green card or citizenship.

I found nothing to suggest that a criminal conviction, arbitrarily disqualifies one from applying for or receiving a PASSPORT.

Wow, good info in this thread.

I've never crossed a border in an RV while on vacation so I can't add much. I will say, however, as a Colorado resident that leaving to travel out of state by vehicle can be a hassle. Everyone in adjacent states automatically think that CO residents are transporting marijuana. If you are a minority with CO license plates, expect to get stopped even more. Recently I was driving to Kansas City with a hispanic friend and he got pulled over 4 times during the times it was his turn to drive. It didn't help that he had multiple arrests on his record with no convictions for a variety of offenses as juvenile delinquent who went straight.

So...for me...right now...everything is quite tense on both sides....and thats, for me is expected. I wont watch the job.
On kinda of aa secoundary note...this happened to us at the border at the American side ...coming thru to Canada..

Kids are young, both fighting cause we are going home after a lovely vacation in Maine...driving a little to fast approaching within a 1/4 mile of the post...pulling a pup...coming up to the wicket....both officers had there guns drawn....kids freaked....little woman freaked...

But hey.. respect the rules....and you wont be hassled...seriously
