Hwy 144 Construction West of Sudbury
We were on part of it this week to get to Halfway Lake PP & there is construction between Hwy' 17 & Chelmsford. Lots of bumps (marked & unmarked), ground down pavement & no pavement. Looks like it will be like this for a while.
The only bypass I can think of if you're travelling from Chelmsford/Timmins to south of Sudbury (or vice versa) is take. RR #35 east from Chelmsford to Sudbury (where it becomes Elm St). Turn south on Lorne St., then take Regent St, south to Hwy' 69.
Also, there is some construction on 11 & 69 (south of North Bay & Sudbury respectively), but no delays were encountered.
