I camped here as a kid till it closed in the late 70's Now again after it reopened. The new section Holmes Bay is really roomy. The Group sites are 2 x 30 amp power so technically you can put 2 Rv's per site. They are lakefront on the protected side of Holmes Bay, less wind and actually some sand beach.

Great sunset shot, thanks for sharing B&B. We are booked there this weekend, in Holmes Bay. Like you we camped there when i was a kid before they closed it. The group sites are the best that i have seen at any PP, however, rumour has it that they are planning on building cottages on those sites eventually. To be rented out like the Yurts, that is why the hydro was run to that area.

Well I enjoyed the same experience as a kid at Inverhuron with my Mom and Dad and family for many years. My dads favorite park. This year I went back with the wife and we took my Dad with us. He was on cloud nine. Took him to all his old favorites, boiler beach the pub over looking the water in Kincardine, the light house, what a joy. Inverhuron is a hidden Gem and will be on our annual list for camping, hopefully my dad can tag along again. We stayed in Holmes bay on the water and yes simply one of the nicest. I like to think that we can keep this hidden gem to ourselves...
