Have you any experience with Green Acres in Waterloo? It looks great on their web site and I have family in the area. Also, municipal campgrounds intrigue me. The one in Owen Sound looks promising and I've seen web sites for a few in Quebec that might be nice.

Green Acres is a nice park. We store our rv there and have camped there as well. Check out Waterloo Region and St Jacobs country on the Web there are lots of things to do in the area.
We camped at Owen Sound many years ago and drove through the park with the car a few years ago and it looked OK. The sites seemed a little small for what we old folks camp in now.

Thanks Falcon35 for your input! My grandparents lived in Waterloo since I was a wee tot. My Mom lives there now. When I would go visit I used to walk to the Waterloo Park to swim in the pool(s) there, feed the geese by the river and enjoy the zoo. Also would ride the trolley from W'loo to the end of Kitchener and back. Is there still rv sites at Victoria Park in Kitchener? Are they worthwhile looking into?

Also, my great-grandmother lived in Rostock and I had an uncle with a farm near Brunner, ON.

No rv sites in Victoria Park but there are sites at Laurel Creek Conservation Area just around the corner from Green Acres Park. I'm sure you can find it on the Web also. We have walked in that park but never camped there.
