Niagara ON
Looking to visit Niagara next month. Is there anywhere near the falls that allows overnight parking for a couple of nights? So far I'm not having much luck with the casinos in the area.

Nevermind. I guess you're looking to stay on the Canada side. Good luck.

Being a high tourist area I do not believe you will find any place for free for a couple of nights.
I went a few years back with the FROG Group and stayed at a campground west about 5 miles west of the falls.
It was called Bissell's Hideaway Resort.
It was also a water park. Nice location and far enough away from the Falls that it wasn't hectic.
Here is the link to their website.

Hello,
Going to have problem finding a place that is open. Bissells closes October 9th, Niagara Falls KOA is open till Oct 23, a little longer, Yogi Bear is closed Oct 15 and has very confusing rate chart...
The season ends pretty early up here. We do have some Provincial Parks open much later and a select few all year. They are way too far away from the Falls.

Far from free but away from the hustle & bustle yet close easy drive to the attraction.
Worked well for our stay.

Not necessarily looking for a free spot. Willing to pay parking fees. Just looking to "urban" camp within walking distance of all the fun. Thanks for all the insight so far.

Walking distance, camping, Niagara Falls.
Probably not gonna happen.
4 mile creek NY state park is a very easy drive.
Relatively cheap and decent water/electric CG.
Nice bathhouses.
Pretty nice view.
I donno if they are seasonal.
Busier on weekends.
Usually not crowded during week days.

We stayed at the KOA in Canada. There are a couple other ones nearby. There is a city bus that we took down to the falls and back after the fireworks. We had a 24 hr pass to get on off as often as we wanted. You do need to watch when the last bus runs at night. We bought the bus tickets at the campground and the stop was across the street. It worked great. You can check the bus system name as WEGO.

Looks like US side casino allows RV parking. So.... urban camping as usual it is.
