PEI there we are!

This summer, we're going to PEI National Park for 10 days. We're taking off from Greenwood, NS and we'll go diretly to the confederation bridge then the camp site! It is supposed to be a 5-hour ride. Does someone has some tips or ideas for us?

Do the Anne of Green Gables thing, the kids will love it! There is a wax museum next to the KOA along with a water slide park. You'll have a great time! We also stopped at the Yogi Bear campground in New Brunswick, for the kids!

Going to PEI the last week of August and the first week of Sept. Already made reservations near Charlottetown @ the Pine Hills RV park. They close Sept 11 for the winter.

I found that most of the attractions on PEI shut down right after Labour Day. They are closed during the week and only open on weekends. If you go during July and Aug. then there is so much for the children you will not be able to get it all in. Have a great trip and have lots of fun. One thing you should do is go to a lobster supper.

I have lived in the maritimes for almost a year and I know about the day after labour day! In the maritimes, the summer dosent' stay for months and months. Question for you, the lobster supper in the PEI, do you know a place to go to bye or to eat?

They are everywhere - most small town community centers, etc hold them. Just stop at a tourist info center and you will find lots of ads for them.

We are headed to PEI in late July. If you see a Berkshire with NY plates, that's us! It will be the wife and me along with our 14 year old twin girls and my in-laws. Pretty gutsy, huh?

We went to the New Glasgow lobster supper. There is also one in St. Ann. As the VTX AL stated they are everywhere on the Island. New Glasgow is about 20 min from Cavendish.
