Providence Bay, Manitoulin Island

Beautiful place! Tented there last August. Now that we have a trailer we're going back for more next June/July. No skeeters! Beautiful beach, not commercial at all. All of the island accessible in a few day trips. Manitoulin is accessible in 2 ways. From the south via Bruce Peninsula by ferry (80$ for Rav 4, pay by length, about 1 1/2 hrs.) or from the north (west of Sudbury, amazing scenery) no toll on the bridge. Big shout out for Providence Bay Tent & Trailer Park where we stayed! Not having trailered before, cannot really comment on the quality of their water/elictrical facilities but did see some big rigs there.

I had looked to get a summer place there a few years ago for the reasons listed but the better half said no so we ended up in the UP of MI less then 100 miles away. Have fun.
