Pinery PP is an excellent park but can be tight for a 30+ foot long TT. They have pull-through sites in the Riverside 1 campground but there's no privacy at all so I would not book one of those sites. We were on Site #811 in the Riverside 4 campground.

Never been to Wheatley PP. Alicam, what was it you didn't like about it? The only PP we've been to that we wouldn't go back to is Balsalm Lake. No privacy, too busy and a very long hike to the beach.

For our 32' long TT, we like Awenda and Algonquin (Mew Lake). Bon Echo is another favorite but it's so popular that it's hard to book a site big enough (with electric service). This year, we've booked at Presqu'ile PP in late-May and at Rondeau PP in early July.

Grundy is awesome park. The pull thrus next to the lake are perfect, 50 foot walk to beach and lake and on the other side is flush toilet. Biking, hiking, canoe, fishing.

One more trip booked. Presquile Provincial Park. Early July.
We have always gone early June. Maybe the water front sites will be a bit warmer.

Which campground do you guys like at Grundy? We would want an electric site. It looks like a very popular place because the electric sites are booked solid through the summer. Is it just as popular in the Fall when the colours are peaking?

Thanks, Dave53. Is the better beach on Gurd Lake next to the Poplar Campground?
