My Grandparents also lived on Victoria St. They lived at 12 Victoria I believe they lived beside your Uncle. We hope to get back to CB in the near future. Things have change since we were last there. When we camp in CB we usually stay at Arm of Gold.

We stay at Arm of Gold every labor day weekend, where are you living now? Cape Breton right now is the perfect retirement community but there sure isn't much industry for young people to stay here. Still a beautiful place, keep coming back for your fix. What was your grandparents name?

Used to be an Inglis MacAulay coming to my dads garage all the time. I get to Ontario a lot for business, actually have to go to Niagara Falls in May for a conference. My wife's sister lives in North Bay.
Hopefully you can retire on the Cape, drop a message if you are coming on a trip, maybe we can have a beer.

I'm semi retired now. We spend our winters in BC and I have a summer job working as a deck hand on the tour boats. I retired at the young age of 56 got bored last summer and got the part time job on the boat. It is a dream job, being on the boat all day talking to tourist and getting paid to do it.

Sounds like a great job, i plan to go in 3 years, i play a lot of music , live band stuff. Am hopeful i can carry in doing that at 63, you never know these days. Hard to know where to winter now the weather is so weird everywhere. Think we are going top do some travelling with the toy hauler and bike, we have done some riding in Arizona and california in the last few years and would like to go back for some extended time. Never enough time to accomplish everything on a short vacation.
