D-mo, is that on the north shore or south shore. Heading to Newfoundland end of June and 1st leg is Lindsay to somewhere east of Quebec City. Any suggestions?

Is Omaha, Nebraska to Quebec City to far to navigate with this large a TT? Any suggestions on route? Is mid June to soon to travel north? We moved up from a 2012 18ft RPOd to a 28 ft unit. Pretty scary!

A 28 ft will not be a problem, we took that same route a few years ago in our 31 ft TT and kept going to Nova Scotia. You would want to do some planning if you were going farther east as things start to get spaced out heading up to the Gaspe area or to swing down into New Brunswick. June no problem either, snow would be gone and warming up nicely, unless we have another crazy spring.

derrek6669 Mont Ste. Anne park is on the north shore. The KOA Quebec City is on the south shore not too far from the highway. If you are heading to Newfoundland I would recommend Arm of Gold CG in Cape Breton. It is the the last CG before the ferry in North Sydney.

yes it is on the north side of the St.Larry .. kinda agree with caper.
believe it or not .. we have yet to do the NFLD trip .. due to issues with ferries, and dyi flyfishing (hate fishing with a guide).
dont dismiss Mont Ste Anne tho ... you can run up the north side of the St. Larry and then cross over into Riviere du Loup, via ferry ... the northern edge of the St. Lawrence is a very beautiful place. ... do your homework tho .

This will be our 6th year going to Newfoundland, the last 5 we have driven our PMV to Halifax and rented a Class C from Fraserway RV, had a really good experience with them. This fall we purchased the Sunseeker so instead of hotle stops on the way down and up will be looking for camping spots. Thinking east of Qc the first night and between Moncton & Truro the 2nd and then we are on the overnight ferry to Argentia an the Friday night. Probably look Edmundston on the way home as the first stop.

There is a CG just east of Quebec City near Levy (Transit CG). It is right beside the highway and not hard to miss. I have not camped here so can not comment on CG. If you are traveling with pet be careful in Quebec. We stopped at a CG east of Quebec city and informed the person we had a dog. They said no problem paid for site and then was informed the dog had to stay on our site (could not walk dog through park) and no refunds. The site was just the right size for our unit leaving about a 6 ft x length of trailer to walk the dog. Loch Lomond CG at Amherst NS was a nice spot to spend a night. It is located just off highway 104. Scotia Pine CG in Truro is also a nice CG. On the way back recommend stopping at Grand Falls NB. There are several CG just outside of town. The falls are worth stopping to see.
