As far as I know, Lexi's do not come standard with an inverter. The converter on our Lexi 283ts is under the rear bed. But no inverter came with ours.
It might be an option, or added by the previous owners.
If there is one, it's usually mounted close to the house batteries. On a 283ts if one was added, it might be under the fridge. Thats the only place near the battery that has space enough for one. If not, look for any added wires to the battery and try and trace them.
Also, if you bought it used from a dealer, salesman might have confused an inverter with a converter, telling you it had an inverter when he ment a converter, which is standard equipment.

Thank you!

Found the after-market inverter, hidden under the passenger seat. Almost impossible to find!

I was about to ask this same question so thanks for the info. We have a 2008 283GTS and I wasn't sure if we had an inverter or not. I'll get out there and see if I have one under the seat or not.

Inverter

Ours is under the passenger seat. I turn it off while in storage as it drains our house batteries.

A converter changes 120 volt AC to 12 volt DC. An inverter changes 12 volt DC to 120 volt AC.

An inverter allows you to watch TV when you're not plugged in.... Also will allow you to plug in various devices.... You will need to locate which plugs receive power when using it....

2008 Lex 255s

I am finally learning the used Lex I bought. I am puzzled by the limited information about evacuating the holding tank. I hope someone can give me s clue. My book says there are two calls, one is 3" (black tank) and the other is 1 1 1/2" diameter. Also says they should be marked (not) and that there is one common outlet. I cannot locate the gray tank valve. Here's the photo I took. Please help me as this is an important feature.
