255DS slide

I have a 2004 Lexiton 255DS. At the top of the compartment below the dinette slide are two projections coming from the floor of the above slide. The one on the left is obviously connected to the slide motor and must be used in emergency to hand crank the slide in. However to the right is another projection about 8 inches from the slide crank. It seems to be a large pipe thread plug(maybe 3/4 in) that goes into another fitting possibly a flange of some type. Does anyone know what this second fitting is or what it is used for?
Thank you

That is the "Height Adjuster" for the slide out. That is for dealer use if the slide out needs adjustment.

Dear Medtech and bclemens -- glad to read this discussion. I noticed this on our 255 as well. Good to know the height can be tuned up a bit because our slider is dragging a bit. (I would like to thank both of you for helping in our pursuit of a 255 with a dinette. We bought the one in Yuma and arrived home a couple of days ago. We were surprised to find that it has the same slow fueling problem as the 255 we rented two years ago. Often the fueling rate is 40 sec per gallon. I crawled under and the breather pipe seems properly strapped to the fueling pipe. Do either of you have any ideas about this problem?)

I found the DR slide nuts but where is the manual adjustment for the BR slide

The 255ds dining room slide adjustment is as you describe. I found it in the storage compartment under the slide. But I can't seem to find the bedroom slide adjustment anywhere. I checked the storage compartment, the chassis, the slide, etc. I've crawled under the frame and nothing there. Does it look like the DR adjustment or is it something different. Can you tell me where to look. Thanks

^^This^^ If you lift of the mattress, remove the board below that to get access to slide motor, etc. It adjusts in a little different manner I believe.

I have not looked in mine for adjustment. But as bc has stated it is adjustable just not the same as main slide.
Let us know how you come out!

Thanks Everyone--I found the manual slide adjuster

Thanks for the input everyone. I finally found it mounted on the wall near the fresh water tank. It is difficult to see without a flashlight...especially if you have 70+ year old eyes. For those with the same question, you can look in the 3rd photo and you can see the nut with the lockpin thru it. Again, thanks for all the help.
