Battery requirements for 2010 Lexingto 255DS

We need to replace our rv batteries. Are there any suggestions on the make and model of batteries that would be best for our rv?

Thank you for the information. Do I need to determine if it should be 6v or 12v or doesn't it matter?

Yes it matters. You would need two 6v batteries for things to work, since RVs work on 12v.
Suggest you Google "the 12 Volt Side of Life". It'll help you understand how the two different electrical systems work in RVs.

you can use 2-6v batteries to gain 12 volts lots of people do this or just 1 or 2 12v batteries .

We have the same FR GTS as you [2010] and I changed mine in June of 2017 with [2] Interstate Class #27 Batteries / 12 Months Free Replacement and they have been good with No issues so far.
Hope this helps

The question that has not been asked is "Do you boondock" a lot or do you always stay plugged in except maybe an occasional overnight?
If you DON'T boondock...you don't need a true deep cycle battery and you can go with the standard dual purpose el cheapos they sell most places like wal mart. We know you can take a group 27 from the response above. Brand will not matter since you are NOT deep cycling in such use.

If you do boondock...go for a QUALITY true deep cycle battery in Group 27 OR a group 31 which has a few more amp hours IF it will fit in your battery tray. Sample measurements for each battery are :
12.5x6.76x9.38 Group27
13x6.75x9.5 Group31... all inches of course.
Suggest staying with 12V single or pair of TRUE deep cycle like the Trojans or Deka DC series (DC will be in the model # of the batteries they make for themselves and other brands (i.e. GR27DC) ...same deep cycle capability (i.e. 100 amp hours) as dual purpose similar sizes...but WAY more life cycles so you get more seasons of deep cycling.

We’re actually replacing ours with lithium batteries. A bit more $, but has more charge cycles and can drain down to zero with no issue. Cheaper in the long run.
