Class C Sunseeker or Forester

We were told that the 2010 RV's were upgraded or modified to be quieter down the road by design, sound proofing and window quality. Can someone tell me if there has been any modifications to the coach it self from 2010 + versus a 2008 or 2009. If so what kind of changes? Trying to decide if we should purchase a 2008-2009 or spend more $ for a newer unit and is the dollars worth it, with all the drivetrains the same it may not be???

The Ford chassis did get some modifications in 2010. For one the brakes are bigger, it has a tow/haul mode (you'll see a little trailer with a button on the shifter), new front end design, new dash and longer warranty. You can look at the VIN of the chassis, or just look at the front end. If it has little van headlights it is pre-change. If it has big F150 headlights, then it is the new design.

As for the RV portion, we started a running design change in 2010. If it has the integrated entry step (no power step, but a drop down in the sidewall) it will have these changes.

We went from a steel floor to a thicker aluminum floor with more insulation, we started using Azdel Superlite in place of lauan plywood for a better R-value and noise reduction, heated and enclosed tanks, integrated step, battery in the stepwell and lots of other small changes.
