It's not as clear as it could be, but this is from The Forest River RV Owner Digital Kit which is available for free through the App Store. This app contains all of the manuals for the various Forest River RVs.

12v Batteries Not Charging or Not Fully

After much research it is pretty much a fact the WFCO 12v converter used in our coaches is junk. And after a terrible trip to the mountains last year due to my 12v power coming and going in 30 degree weather, I replaced it the moment I got back to Florida. My research led me to the Progressive Dynamics unit. After a year with it, I love it. My batteries are always fully charged. And it is supposed to have the best 12v battery maintainer system as well. Do careful research, and you will find the same answer. I chose the: Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power PD4655 Converter/Charger 55 Amp w/Charge. Got a great deal at Adventure RV.net:
Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power PD4655 Converter/Charger 55 Amp..

Battery Charging Issues

Like others here on the board, I had trouble with the WFCO converter that came in my coach. As some suggested, my research also found the Progressive Dynamics converter to be heads and shoulders above the OEM unit. It has a far better battery charging component. It went right into the same housing the WFCO unit was housed in. Do your own research and I think you will agree...
