Filling propane tank

When filling the propane tank on my class C, should the valve to the motorhome be closed or left open when filling. I have been leaving open, but not sure if this is correct. Thanks in advance for your help. Always on the forum trying to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge on this forum.

I say closed as well. No need to push air through the lines while filling.
