Cool Front cap cleaning

I have a 2008 255DS. The front cap has a lot of oxidation and is very hard to keep the bugs cleaned off. Can anybody recommend a good cleaner and wax that will bring the shine back and help make it easier to keep clean?

I use 303 protectant or Rejex. Both will protect the finish and make cleaning the bugs off easier.

To clean the bugs off before using a finish, try using a sheet of Bounce...you know...the kind you use in the clothes dryer. Wet it with warm water first and then rub the bugs off. Amazing how this stuff works.

I can put a sheet of Bounce in a Gopher's hole and it will leave the area. They don't like it either.
