Fulltiming in Lexington
When we bought this Lexington 295 GTS I never dreamed it would be our permanent home! Not much room but it will do. We lived in it for 5 months last winter. For as much grief as this rig has given, I still like it for now. The biggest problem were water leaks on the slide outs! I sat through the latest heavy rains here in northern MN with both slide outs leaking. The slide outs only leaked when out. After about 5 attempts to fix, I think I finally found the problem. Another poor job of caulking by the factory!! Looking at the seam straight on, it seams to be fine but when you looked at it with your head next to the slide out, you could see the problem. Water would follow the outside corner down & get on the bottom of the slide out & leak way inside. I don't know how much wood damage .
I have replaced the mattress, cushions in the dinette seats, added more springs in coach, put in a larger water pump & some other changes. Trying to make it a better rig. Comfortable seating is still lacking.
