during a window chip repair the tec leaned on an broke loose the front driver door panel mirror switch control cover on my 2008 283 GTS does anyone know where to find this part.. I have tried till now with no success
Same thing happened to mine though it just fell off. The plastic piece through which the screw holds the cover on broke
out. I applied 5 minute epoxy neatly around the entire edge of the cover and held it on until the epoxy set. Still seems pretty solid Nashville to Natchez to New Orleans to Rockport, TX. If.....I ever find a new one I am pretty confident that I can break the old one off without any damage. I always keep 5 minute epoxy in the center console.
If your refering to the standard power mirror switch on Ford vans or cut a ways it should be a standard Ford part. You can find replacements of the entire switch assembly on e-bay or amazon, around $16 to $18 bucks.
