You may get by on the 30 amp for your rig, but what happens if, down the line, you add a second ac, or up grade to something larger. Or if you want to run more than just your ac, along with a few appliances.
Granted, the 50 amp wire will cost more, but it's a one shot/one time purchase.
I did a 30 amp for our Lexi class c, but have no plans for anything larger. If, however I had a unit requiring 50 amp, than I'd have gone that route.
