Lexington 2007 House Battery Change

When changing house batteries on my Lexington 2007 I know to turn the power disconnect to the off position. Does anyone know if there are any other precautions necessary to assure that the converter is not damaged during the change-out?

That's about it. But do not have it plugged into shore power!
