Rubber roof clean and seal?

As a newbie to rubber roofs, I am not sure what the rubber roof on my 2007 Lexington is made of. I was trying to make sense of the tech talk threads to see if there were any recommendations on cleaning and treatment, but not really sure what I am reading. Can someone help me as to what you guys use on your rubber roofs?

You can clean it with Dawn dish soap and then I use 303 Aerospace UV protectant on it. You can get the 303 by the gallon from Amazon cheapest place I've found.

Looks like the 303 Aerospace UV protectant could also be used on the whole rv - would you recommend?

Are you sure your Lexi does not have a fiberglass roof? If you have the GTS, you probably have fiberglass. Can you post Model -- that would help to determine if you have rubber or fiberglass roof.

It's a 2007 Lexington 300SS GTS, but as far as I can tell it's a rubber roof with a grainy texture. Fiberglass would be like the sides of the RV, right?

You have fiberglass roof

According to the Lexington 2007 sales brochure for the 300ss GTS, your model has a fiberglass roof. The standard 300 had a rubber roof but the GTS has a fiberglass roof. Here is a link to the details.

I don't like the dish soap but prefer laundry soap.

Hmmm... here are some pics of the roof... Shouldn't it be smooth like the side if it is fiberglass? Sorry I know it is hard to twll, but I would call this more like the "orange peel" texture. So they make textured fiberglass roofs?

That may not be correct.i think that's the year we switched them all to fiberglass.

As for best way to clean & protect. Just like any fiberglass. Wash & wax.
