Tail light/ back up light bulb replacement

I have a 2008 Lexington 283 GTS I am not sure how to remove the tail light lens for bulb replacement Can anyone give me an answer?

If i remember well, the tail and stop lights are plastic housing held in place by a sort of rubber "grommet". To remove, you will have to bend the rubber "grommet" toward the center while pushing the whole housing inside the molded back panel. When done disconnect the light fixture and replace.

Use patience and keep going on.

thanks for the info i take it the plastic fixture has to be disconected and replaced to change a bulb will have to locate replacement part not just a bulb?

I replaced my tail/signal and backups with a full LED set. Looks good, and should not need to worry about again!

Can you tell which light are not LED?

Looks like none of those are LED. But your lights are different than mine. I have the 4" round type mounted in rubber gaskets.

Only 2 are regular bulbs (top center) the rest of the marker and tail lights are LEDs. The photo was taken late afternoon on a sunny day.

Yeah, it is hard to see and tell from a dark picture. 'Need to see them in the skin.
I have now converted everything inside and out with LED's I purchased inexpensively on eBay. I recently installed the 5M LED strip under my awning. I can set it to many colors, or let it just go through them on it's own. It is very cool. One of my better idea's was using little chrome LED tag light assemblies as toe kick lighting from one end to the other in my Lexie. It makes great night lighting. The other advantage to these LED's is your battery life when dry camping, and lowering the load placed on your converter. For anybody reading this that have little LED experience, there are many different lumens varieties. (brightness) Plus you have the harsh white, and the more natural yellowish we are all used too like incandescent. This applies more to interior usage. I have vastly modified my Lexie 255 GTS. Do they look like this? If so you can just grab them and pull them out. I don't remember if you need to replace the whole thing or just the bulb.

If they are not a "sealed" unit, they are likely not LED's. Also, when LED's are on, they usually look brighter than incandescent lamps. You will usually see several LED's in the fixture. Running lights usually have about 3 lamps, My 4" round tail light/signal lights have between 10 and 12 LED's. You can count them when lit. I hope this helps.
