Touch up paint

My last trip down the Alaska Highway put a lot of rock dings in the paint of my Lexington.
Can anyone tell me where I can get exact color touch up paint for each color on my motorhome?? Also if someone has a good way to take care of the prep work.

Contact FR & they'll tell you where on your RV the paint label is. If it's not there they will send you one.

The paint on RV's is nothing special. It's common auto paint. For example, on my Berk I have Mercedes, Volvo, Ford, GM paint.

I've been able to purchase spray paint at Pep Boys that matches exactly. Prep work is also nothing special if you know what you're doing. If not contact your local auto paint shop & see what they can do for you.

Good luck.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I thought the GTS series had a fiberglass gelcoat finish. If it does, wouldn't it need gelcoat touchup?

Right. I do have full body paint. Any ideas where to get gelcoats touchup. Only a few little spots.

The paint is standard automotive paint on full body painted units not a gel coat. I actually went to a paint supplier and had them use their hand held color scanner to match the paint that way.

If you have the same paint colors I do I have included the label. I went to a local automotive paint shop and they made me up some small touch up bottles along with some aerosol spray cans of the same colors. Didn't even know they could put custom OEM colors in spray can's. I think the can's were around $12. or something super cheap.

I used the touch up bottles for rock chips and the spray can's for some larger repairs along the side moldings, and places where i caulked to fill in gaps where body parts meet.

Its Sherman Williams paint with a 640 clear. All listed on the label.
