Being the owner of a Mini S, I'd say tow it to the junk yard. These cars rate right in there with the Pinto and Yugo. I couldn't talk the wife out of buying it, now we are paying for it in repairs and extra maintainance. Get something you can flat tow without problems.

Not sure what you mean. If at a pull thru site, just back the car off and leave it hooked up. If it's a back in site then back the car off, unhook and roll it somewhere on the site. I installed a caster wheel on the tongue so it's almost as easy as rolling a shopping cart.

I feel that I can speak to this issue as I tow a 2003 Mini and have for years .... It's a fantastic tow .... We love ours... We towed it for 4K miles this past summer when we were gone off the entire month of. July....

Be glad to answer any questions you might have....

Oh - and to respond to an earlier post - we love our Mini and have had some expenses with it BUT we also have 155K miles on it so I'd think that would be expected .... I still say "it's as close to a street-legal go-cart as you can get"....

Oh how I agree. I was in love on my first drive.
Pick it up tomorrow. Load up and Gulf Coast for five days.

Easy to tow.... Simply hook it up (I use a Roadmaster setup), start it up, put in neutral, turn key to off position ( leave key in ignition) and pull her down the road.....
