warning buzzer when you turn battery disconnect key to off position

New 2007 Lexi owner here again... when I turned my battery disconnect key to the off position last night, the warning buzzer went off on my the sensor panel right next to it - I think it is the LP leak sensor? - with the light saying "low voltage". Is this supposed to happen? I hit the mute button and it silenced. Is there a way to prevent this from happening every time I turn the battery disconnect key to off?
