12 Volt Fuse Location

This has probably been discussed previously but I haven’t been able to locate the thread. Anyhoo, I have a 2014 Sunseeker 3170DS. I can’t get the kitchen or living room ceiling lights to operate. All the under cabinet lights throughout the camper work, as well as those in the hallway, bathroom, bedroom etc. I’ve checked the bulbs in the fixtures and they all work in other locations. I checked the main battery control panel, but don’t see any fuses in there for 12 volt service. Is there another dedicated panel for the 12 volt system. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx in advance.

Some ceiling lights have both a wall switch and a switch on the light fixture. Both need to be turned on for the light to work. Look for a toggle or push button switch on the fixture.

Yes mine has a wall switch for each location, in the control panel above the fridge as well as a rocker switch on each fixture itself, no luck with those. I just assume I’m not getting power to those control panel switches hence the question as to fuse locations?

12v fuses are in the same panel as your 120vac breakers unless your Sunseeker is different than most. I don't know if there were LED's that lit when a fuse was blown for that year. If there are LED's then look for the one lit, the fuse will be next to it. I think the light switches need to be on for the LED to light.

I found my fuse/breaker panel. It’s on the base of the bed. Never saw it before today. And you’re right, a red led lit up when I turned on the overhead light switch. Tried removing the fuse but when I wiggled the fuse the lights popped on.... go figure. But thanks for your help. Wife is happy��

I feel your pain. I am sitting here laughing my ass off because I went threw the same thing looking for the breaker panel last year when my ac went out. Found it on the base of the bed also. At least they could have put it at eye level.

I thought ie was pretty easy to see @ the foot of the bed !!!

I don't ever remember seeing the fuse/breaker panel higher than floor level, in any RV.

Some rainy day you might want to test the various fuses and breakers now that you found the panel. Assembly line workers don’t always label the things the way they should be.....just sayin’

Check all your 12v lights and 120v power outlets inside and out. Btw....do you know which outlets are on your GFI circuit? The GFI Control tester is usually the bathroom outlet. It may feed outlets in the kitchen and any outside electrical outlets.

Dirty fuse blades are easily cleaned with a tool commonly found in a woman’s purse called an emory board.

Or simply slide the fuse in and out a few times. The friction will clean BOTH the fuse blades AND the fuse socket contacts.

Yeah, I like your “eye level” solution better. Just like the insane position FR installed the control module for my Lippert bedroom slideout. You have to be a Houdini to view it. I relocated mine😡

One thing I found is one of terminals the fuse plugs into may be slightly bent out of line. When you put a fuse in, the leg of the fuse will slide past the terminal instead of into it. I had found that on a previous TT when a fuse blew. I noticed the new fuse didn't look straight compared to the ones above and below.

Shame on your dealer for not showing you the location of the breaker/fuse panel and explaining it to you.

One MORE example of a lousy PDI.
