2006 Sunseeker 27' Class C Slide-out Q's

Apologies for what to some must be very basic questions, but any advice for a relative non-techie newbie would be much appreciated!!I have a 2006 Sunseeker 27' Class C. My Lippert couch/table slide out has quit working - the motorruns when I activate the switch, but the slide doesn't move! I am well aware of my mechanical limitations & not looking for advice on how to fix it, BUT, before I go to a repair shop
A) Where do I access the manual over-ride for the couch slide out? Inside the MH or outside /under it?
B) If the motor has to be replaced, can anyone give me a very ballpark figure? Canadian prices would be even better! I just want to know if I'm going to have to remortgage the house!

Under the slide on the roof of the exterior storage compartment should be a shaft with a nut. That is the manual retraction.

Could be a couple of different things
1. the cog that sits on a shaft and turns (bring the slide in and out) is on their with set screws. If it got loose, it could have slid over. If you pull the front fascia on the slide floor you should be able to see in there to see if that cog lines up with the teeth in the slide ram. That would be an easy fix...if you have a long tool to slide over the cog and tighten the set screw,
2. sheer pin on the motor broke. That requires pulling the motor. 6-8 hours I'd guess to repair which includes pulling the slide room.
