I do have to agree. However with the missing cross brace installed, I'm hoping it will combat the jack's tendency to flex inward.

Okee dokie. Got it back last week and everything seems to be working just fine. It was freshly washed as well, so that was a plus. Going to take the warnings of lifting tires off the ground to heart and try to avoid it by using blocks as needed.

Camping this week and saw a Georgetown XL with a bent jack. Yep, no cross brace. Spoke with the owner and he was surprised to hear about the missing cross brace.
THANK YOU MKrase for bringing this to my attention. As stated, I was able to prevent this from happening thanks to you posting.
Happy you got your frame straightened out and wishing you nothing but happy camping.
Thank you again.

Garrette, did Bigfoot provide details on where to place the cross brace? The one shown in the photo earlier in this post looks positioned a little high.
I have the material for the brace and the 2-1/2 clamps but I'm scratching my head over the best location without interference of the limit switch wires or the hydraulic hoses. The lower the brace the better the cross brace will work.
I'm guessing the photo is how the factory does it but wanted to ask anyway.

This is where the dealer installed mine after the frame/jack repair. While further down would be stronger, there isn't much room with the switches in the way.

Thanks MKrase!
That's where mine will go.

Bobby, that is about where I placed mine. BF did not indicate where to mount. I just mounted them as low as possible without interfering with anything.
You are right, seems that they would work better lower.

Thanks Garrette! I got the brace installed today and it's just about in-line with others. Any lower and it would place pressure on the limit switch wiring.
I didn't feel too good about using the jacks until this got installed.
