Smile 2013 air conditioner vibration

I think I could have a problem with my air conditioner on my 3010ds. I ran it for the first time Last week. The unit has a out of balance vibration to it. Are all the air conditioners making this vibration like the fan is out of balance. Thanks for any input on this Dale.

Agree with the mud daubers. Had the same issue. Take cover off AC and do a thorough inspection. Sometimes hard to see.

On one of mine the factory had left some of the Styrofoam packing material in the fan blades. Talk about out of balance....

Just to be on the safe side, flip the breaker for the AC before you remove the cover.

Thanks for the information mine has been in the storage shed. I am going to check it out. The last thing I want to do is take back to dealer. If all looks ok it should be covered. Dale.

My 3050 AC unit is not noticeably vibrating. I have 13K BTU unit, probably same as yours.

Send a message via MSN to Tiggerdad
There is a thread in the Berkshire forum about noisy A/C units. Several posted that Dometic had some improper rubber mounts on some units. May not apply to you but worth checking.

AC vibration

Last year I had the same vibration on my 2012 Forester. I bring to the dealer and they did not find anything wrong. I went to an other dealer and I order a new fan blade + or - 20$, install it and the problem no more exist. May be I was lucky !!!
