Question 2013 Sunseeker 3010DS Winterization

We're in the process of upgrading from a 2015 Jayco 26BHS Travel trailer to a 2013 Forest River Sunseeker 3010DS Class C. One thing I've been unable to find on the Sunseeker that was easily done on my Jayco are low-point drains and a anti-freeze "pipe" to stick into the bottle and suck it through the pump into the plumbing system. Seems that the previous owner poured three gallons into his on board water tank and then used the pump. I did find the water heater bypass valves behind a panel in the kitchen -- which he also didn't use -- the hot water heater is full of pink fluid. Thanks!

I don't believe the Sunseekers come with the bypass for winterizing.I have a 2015 3010 and had to add it around where the pump is.

I guess at some point they added it. Our 2017 3010 SS came with bypass at the water heater and a siphon hose/valve at the pump.

My 2015 also has the hotwater bypass inside behind the waterheater and the winterizing pipe just ahead of the pump. My low point drains are behind the passenger side rear duals

I had to add my siphon hose to my camper. Bypasses were there but not siphon hose. They are cheap to buy, and easy to instal

Any instructions on how to install the siphon hose and parts needed?

I bet you have everything you need as my 2014 does. I did a video on winterization (see link below). As for the water heater bypass, mine is under the kitchen cabinetry. I have to pull the drawers out to get to it. Yours is probably hidden as well.

Great video, thanks! I have the water heater bypass, but no siphon hose on the pump. The link to the Camco winterization kit looks like it will work so I will be installing that before I winterize for this season. The previous owner did put antifreeze through the water heater so I will flush that out thoroughly before it is used for the first time. Without the siphon hose, he put what looks to be four to six gallons of anti freeze in the fresh water tank too so I will drain all of that and sanitize it a couple times to remove all the residue.

Our 2013 2500Ts came with no winterizing kit,,, and there is really no room for one,,, so we just dump a couple of gallons of antifreeze in the FW tank,,, after we have bypassed the W/H and blown out the system !!! Not forgetting to add some antifreeze to the drains pottie and removing filter canister !!!

Pull the filter and drop a bottled water in the canister before pumping pink and you have less filter canister to fill before it starts going through the pipes. Yes, when I am through, I remove the canister and leave it off.
