2014 Model Year

We have ordered a 2013 Sunseeker 3170DS which we hope to pick up in late May or early June. I have see posts about people with 2014 Sunseekers. Will we receive a 2013 or a 2014?

We ordered our 2900 in Jan, took delivery Mar. 22. Our registration says 2014. The ford chassis however is a 2013 according to ford. Yours should surely be a 2014.

By late May/early June I'd count on a 2014.

Chassis won't be 2014 until late fall. Coach will register as a 14 if you're not getting it until May.

I wonder if we'll actually get to a point where they back up the start of the next production run so much that it'll actually skip a year altogether.

8 to 10 is average this time of year

Wonder when the sunseeker factory will communicate any progress?

We ordered our 3170 January 7th, (I honestly don't think the dealer RV Direct put the order in until two weeks later). Yesterday we received the final purchase order and MSO so we finally have a vin! Now we are awaiting loan documents and a date to pick it up from their Buffalo location. Today was the end of the 12th week! Our paperwork says its a 2014.

Production times run 8-10 weeks. A lot of it depends on when the dealer sent the order in.

We ordered with RVDirect Albany on 22 March and got order confirmation on 23 March. Today we received a letter from RVDirect stating the order was confirmed with the factory (which they told us earlier via E-mail) and we'd soon be getting the final details (VIN and build date estimate). We have found RVDirect to be extremely responsive and proactive (our Outlook InBox as proof).
