2014 slide squeegee/sweeper on bottom not right

Hope I posted this in the correct place. We have a 2 week old 2500 and on our first trip we are getting lots of air (and daylight, bugs etc.) under the dinette slide and when I looked it looks like the squeegee was not installed properly. This slide has two tracks and I noticed that on one of the tracks the gasket is purposely cut to allow the slide to go in and out without hanging up but on the other side it is not cut and just folds over and seems to get all hung up and leaves a large gap. Could anyone tell me what it is supposed to look like. We are heading out west and definitely don't want to have the freezing wind blowing in. Thanks in advance!

Not sure what it's supposed to "look" like, but in previous Sunseekers I have owned (2860 and 3120), once I used a towel after a bath, I would put it down in front of the couch so the air wouldn't come in through the slide.

I now have a 3170, and NO PROBLEM.

Had a 2013 3121 with the same issue. Piss poor design. I solved the draft and bug problem with pool noodles. Cut to wedge in the gap and notched around the slide rails. Putting the noodles in became a standard procedure for us, and it beat having a cold draft and bugs. We had several dirt dobbers and wasps make it inside as well, prior to the noodles.

I had a 2011 Forester 3171 with the same issue. The bottom seal had to be massaged to seal. I used a split pool noodle and jammed it in the threshold from outside. Great protection for a Dollar Store item!

The schwintek slides aren't exactly draft proof either. I had cut a noodle for that one too. To me a single wiper under a slide don't cut it. There are definitely better ways of doing a seal under them during installation. I love the ones in our SB, 3 flush floors and the bedroom above floor still sits on a trough that has zero draft.
